• Accommodation on Air Batang (or ABC as it is usually referred to)
• Being the backpackers preferred beach, there are many accommodation options here. You have a choice of paying RM10 for a shared dorm room (Johan's), RM20/night for stand alone chalets with attached bathrooms (YP Chalets, Mawar Chalets) or air conditioned chalets ranging from RM65/night (Johan's) to RM160/night for one of Nazri One's new deluxe rooms in a new wing with air con, hot water, mini bar and modern comforts. ABC Chalets offers chalets with air con and hot shower for RM120/night.
• YP Chalets, one of the friendliest places on the beach have air conditioned longhouse rooms for RM60/night and fan chalets for RM15/night.
• No prior booking for ABC is really necessary as most places cater for walk-ins primarily so just come and choose something you like.
